SuperIMAP is an inbound mail processor. It triggers a webhook event to your application when new email arrives in an IMAP inbox, typically within seconds. SuperIMAP is especially useful for applications that need to react to email in real-time on behalf of their users.
Edit: As of July 2015, the FiveStreet team runs a SuperIMAP cluster processing ~400k emails per day for thousands of users.
